Danielle Gibson gets maiden T20I call-up for Women's Ashes

England have handed all-rounder Daniella Gibson a maiden call-up to the T20I squad for the upcoming series against Australia in the Ashes. Gibson, who features for Western Storm, was part of England's travelling reserves for the T20 World Cup earlier this year and was also named in the squad for the recently-concluded Ashes Test. Green, who fractured his right index finger, is set to undergo surgery after he consulted a specialist but he is likely to make a recovery within a month's time. Starc, meanwhile, may not require surgery but the damage done to the tendon on his left middle finger could leave him on the sidelines for a longer period.
